Up and down, trying to stay optimistic. I've had absolutely horrible head pains off and on for the past few hours though. They'll go in cycles of intensity.

I'm also sick, but not too badly so. I'm dealing with it well and still managing to have a good break.

How are you doing?

I'm feeling sad since I've learned that Lars Hollmer died. And I haven't done anything for a long time today.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I saw that. Sad news indeed. Ouch

I haven't done anything for a while because of feeling sick for the past 5 or 6 days, coupled with the fact that I'm on Winter Break. I did, however, get electronic drums for Christmas. Big smile

Good tribute James. I'd like to do it too but I'll keep the Bossa Nova one a little longer.

I just realise I might have seen his last live performance.

I was lucky.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I was lucky to see Hatfield and the North with Pip Pyle.  Not his last performance but it was perhaps one of his last UK performances.

Gosh it's a depressing day.

I was thinking about Lars and Hugh and then the News came on and showed lots of footage of Iran. Cry

It can be easy to get depressed at all the deaths, situations, etc. all around the world and within society, but you can't let it get to you. Otherwise it's overwhelming.

I saw Hatfield when Pip Pyle had just died 2 weeks before. They decided to play anyway and it was a really sad concert. I shed a tear.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Well I hadn't met Lars and I'm not fully aware of his career (despite owning some SMM albums and having Von Zamla, Hollmer solo, Looping Home Orchestra and Accordion Tribe albums on my computer) but it's still sad.

I've just had a weird few days to be fair.

Oh thanks, Alex... now I have "We Know What You Mean" by Soft Machine stuck in my brain... I don't think Hugh had joined by then though, so I'll let you off.

Grrr.

Must be positive.

I watched the remainder of my Neal and Jack and Me DVD by King Crimson again today.

That is a hell of a performance. Clap
