Santa should get you at least the next five albums:

Eloy - Ocean

Caravan - ITLOGAP

Mike Oldfield - Ommadawn

Porcupine Tree- The Sky Moves Sideways

Anthony Phillips - The Geese and the Ghost

The latter one was a recent find i had, and what a wonderful album!

Shhh...so I happened to notice that my wife printed off a wish list (for her, my son, and me) and gave it to my mother.

The albums she listed were:

Acquiring the Taste
Atom Heart Mother
Aqualung
Camel

She likes Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, and Camel pretty okay, so I wasn't surprised there- but she despises Gentle Giant most of the time.

I might just be getting one album this year...and it might be Pink Floyd or Jethro Tull, because they're easy to find in the store.

Well Christmas is here!  Hooray!

And Santa got me none of the items on my listen.

He saw fit, however, to provide me with:

Jethro Tull, Minstrel in the Gallery
Dream Theater, Images and Words
Uriah Heep, Look at Yourself

I am thus far pleased.

I also got oodles of money in gift cards, which will likely be spent on prog and beer.  So this poll is still very much active and a part of my decision-making process.

I will see my family tomorrow, so I'll probably have more music to mention later.

In the meantime, w00t!  (As you young Netters say).

And merry Christmas!

a lot of great choices...but Yes is my favorite prog band and i think the "Yesshows" album is awesome, so there it is....the live versions of "Parallels" and "Going for the One" thrill me.
