I know. I'm really tired too, so I may be leaving momentarily.

It's weird, because I received roughly 11 hours of sleep last night (I usually get 6-8) and I hardly did anything today. Confused

Must be from laziness.

I'm still bouncing around here tonight too.  I just don't have much to say.  I spent close to two hours shoveling out my driveway.  My ears were happy as I listened to The Awakening from The Reasoning and Actors in a Play from Mind Games.  My back isn't too happy with me right now though.

I'm not looking forward to shoveling when the time comes, that's for sure.

Hell yes.
Also played a Schecter 7 string C7 Hellraiser today.
Goddamn, 7 string guitars absolutely own 6 strings. Everything about it is just better.

Never tried them, so I wouldn't know. Is it a lower or a higher string?

But I did get The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan today... and Tommy Tiernan's OK Baby is back on youtube I just found out! Yeah

Lower B string, which makes it good for metal:P
And also, great jazz instruments too, since the extra string allows new chord voicing options and opens up new soloing possibilities.
If anything, the main reason I like 7 strings more, is that the neck feels better and more substantial, just feels great.

And Bob Dylan, can't say I'm that familiar with him to be honest :(

Second album, has Blowing in The Wind.

Actually I wonder if my boyfriend wouldn't have a 7 string laying around somewhere.

Are they always electric?

7 strings can come in steel string acoustic, 7 string classical nylon string guitars too.
Unfortunately, getting a 7 string nylon acoustic in Australia would be prohibitively expensive, as much as I would love one (as I still muck around on my 6 string classical from time to time).
The guitar I'm buying next month, is 650 AUD, it's used, but brand new it's 1099 AUD and plus the guitar has barely been played, so I'm getting a great deal on it.

No, In just played a Schecter in a shop today, but the guitar I'm getting is an Ibanez.
I'm gonna buy it, and replace the electronics/pickups and do some more modifications to get it up to the standard of a professional level guitar.

Mmm... I can think of a boyfriend of mine you'd get along with.

He actually got a degree in electronics when he was younger because he wanted to repair/deal/fiddle around with electric guitars. He actually got an Ibanez too lying in the kitchen right now (don't ask me what, I can never remember these things). He prefers his somewhat fancy Gibson though.
