From MySpace:
Writing for the next PT studio record is well underway, with the band recently spending 2 weeks secluded in the English countryside working on new tracks. Recording of these pieces and a new 35 minute SW song cycle is due to start in February, and tour plans are being put in place from September onwards following release of the new album. A London show is already announced for 9th October at Hammersmith Apollo, and there will be many more dates confirmed over the coming weeks, so please check the tour dates page for updates. You can also join the PT ticketing club to ensure that wherever possible you will be offered the best tickets for the shows (plus you get a free live CD). Anyone know what this means? I feel kind of lost. Definitely am looking forward to more from the band. Fear of a Blank Planet has been their strongest prog release to date, and I'm hoping they'll expand on the King Crimson vibes even further. |

Damnit it looks like the mighty King is finally dethroned.
I guess good news though either way since I DO like Porcupine Tree.

After the solo album from Wilson (I hope to get it soon) the news of a new album from them is execellent, my only hope is that they keep going on with their music, hopefully as good as FOABP :)
As live session I hope they will come to my country soon I never seen them |

I suppose we may as well announce the collaborators #1 album of 2009 right now then.
