Hmmm call me whatever you like but why should Obama have to quit smoking just 'cause he's becoming president?
The same for any President/Prime Minister.
There's two things you cannot be:
1. a smoker 2. an atheist
However, adultry is perfectly fine.

Felt the same really. Tim Buckley was far from bad, but it didn't really hit me like Jeff Buckley did.

I think I got into Cohen at the same time as I got into Tim, so maybe that's why (bitterness at Jeff's Hallelujah's popularity as oppsed to Cohen's version, something like that maybe). But Tim's vocals, especially the live stuff, just gives me goosebumps.

I've known about Cohen for years. Strangely enough I had a Cassette recorded for me from original vinyl. It had Night of the Opera one side and I'm Your Man on the other.

Mmm... I think I heard a few years back a similar debate over the fact that the Queen of Denmark was a smoker, thus encouraging Danish women to smoke. I guess maybe people are afraid Obama will be encouraging other people to smoke (now that he's Time Mag's person of the year). Or maybe he just wants to keep the rich tobacco lobby on his side?

And Doctor Who annoys me so damned much too.
I'm just ranting, don't mind me.

But most leaders get drunk. That's worse to me. I mean compare someone like Yeltsin to Obama. No he is going to quit, apparently. But it sounds like he's been told to.

That was a Brian May song wasn't it? He was on television earlier performing with some blonde girl... no idea who she was. He's such an anachronism now though. Same guitar. Same shirt. Same stance. Same solo. Same trainers. Same waistcoat. Same hair.

Yes but did he smoke?
|
Smoking is the more worse evil out of either cocaine or smoking?
|
Smoking = bad teeth and/or a variety of cancer options
Which means he's become less photogenic after a few years, which could be worst than cancer, nowadays.

Lots of coke can damage your nose.
Teeth can be whitened and sorted out and well, the government would fund that.

Well, he had frillier shirts and clogs in the 70s.
Yup, it is a Brian May song.
What show was that? I'd like to see if I can find it on youtube...

Oh in the '70s yes, he was more adventurous.
The last 10 years or so though it just seems he has no wardrobe.
I prefer earlier Queen and late Queen.
Innuendo was and still is, a great album.
Those '80s albums were too disco-ey and too synth-y. Miracle wasn't bad though.

How much blow did Bush do anyway? As much as the Rolling Stones or something like that?
