I'm having a look right now at the myspace, if they aren't metal, I'll give you guys a shout over at HP.

Erm... where? Confused

They're Math Rock.

Wait, I clearly read "progressive, ghettotech, zouk" on that page.

Am I listening to the right band?

There's only one band with that name and the link you gave me was for the correct band (they're actually on my friends list on MySpace)... but I didn't read any of those genres in their description, except for Progressive.

Their influences are perfect though:

Influences: Magma, This Heat, John Coltrane, King Crimson, Ornette Coleman, Polvo, Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Derek Bailey, the Ruins, Nels Cline Trio, Albert Marcoueur, Van Halen, Fredrik Thodenal's Special Defect, Necrophagist, Don Caballero, Harry Pussy, Faust, Neu!!, Cardiacs, Takemura, US Maple, Henry Cow. This list could be so long and stupid and so detailed that you thought I was just making sh*t up. These are some essentials and that's more than enough.

Anyway, I liked the song they have there, but I'm not in love yet. I think I'm feeling more psychedelic than progressive tonight. I'm playing "The Seeds radio" on last.fm, maybe something I haven't heard will turn up.

I'd love to find a great vocalist though. I'm very into those low, deep (almost gravel like) voices, like good old Stuart A. Staples, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen. Seems no new guys sing like that anymore. Pity.

I have something for you to try out.  I think you may like it.

Goddamn, I want a new computer.
Hate this piece of crap.
2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo, 3 GB of Ram, I think the FSB is running at 1066MHz, but I'll have to check that.
I really want a Core 2 Quad.

Dude, stop complaining!

Not even this laptop of mine is a Quad and it's plenty fast enough.  My old PC wasn't even a Core anything.  It was just 1 GHz.

I wouldn't complain if I thought my computer was fast enough.
I want to start using various programs for recording music, and I fear my computer wont cut it.
I've already turned off the Aero visual feature in Vista, disabled Sidebar and turn off unnecessary apps off in Task Manager, but other than that, I don't know a whole heap about good memory management *hates being a computer n00b*Ouch

June, I am currently annoyed at how ignorant people are.

The amount of people who don't know Hallelujah is by Leonard Cohen is insulting.

That's almost everybody's preferred version but it's the ignorance of people who know just the Jeff Buckley version.

And because some person sang it on X-Factor, it means the Jeff Buckley version is being listened to all the time presently.

Listen to Cohen!

I've seen Cohen do it live this past June, and trust me, Jeff had nothing on him. Cohen is God.

And Jeff's dad Tim kicks his butt anyway.

But about Deluge Grander... loving it, thanks James.
