How are you both this morning?

Just trying to be as encouraging as you'd expect from me.

Smelly's parents paid in full except one fee I'm anticipating.  I told him I'd let him know.  But he was a class act about it.

Well, that's good that they've paid SOME now. How was he a class act? Confused

He didn't try to make excuses or weasel out of it.

If the school where I taught didn't have the forums on PA blocked, I would have been written up a time or two, I'm sure. Smile

It may as well be her name.  Her parents don't bathe her.  She stinks all the time, and screams when my wife gives her a bath.  I'm sorry- children who've had baths their whole lives (and are a 18 months old) don't scream when put in water.

So what film are your students watching, June?

I knew a French teacher in high school who would show movies all the time.  If someone in the film said, "Merde," it qualified as educational.

Journey To The Centre of the Earth. Not that educational. Kind of a Xmas gift.

(they're totally hyped up about Xmas by now and I can't teach them much anyway)

Wow, that sucks (I actually had a student this morning who smelled live Raid... I really hope it was just lice product, cuz I've seen raid in student's hair before and it does a terrible job on the scalp). What is she, a foster kid of yours?

And I teach English as second language, so it's the same thing as with your French teacher. The film's in English: practices understanding a message in English. Tongue

Awesome. David and I, about a year ago, actually devised an entire scenario for not just ONE class on prog but a College of Prog (whether it be the entire university or a subset of the university).

I came up with tons of classes and everything. LOL

You could major just in many things really. Even Zappa! Tongue

That would be very sweet. That or psychedelic.

Or some sort of comparative class on lit and folk music.

I'd major in bombast, with a minor in capes.

I'd want to be the professor.

I could teach all the Zappa classes, Rush, Henry Cow, and a bunch of others. Big smile

That is a good song, but it's actually my least favorite from that album. Not sure why, it just doesn't strike me as infinitely as most of the others do.

I'm currently multitasking some reviews as well, so I'm currently listening to ELO. One of my first music loves, but I don't listen to them near as much anymore.
