Evening Pat.  I saw Hawkwind this evening.  Woo!

Guapo were better though.  So were VdGG (both times).

Cool, did you go with anyone to the show?

Three other people.

My mate Doug was the guy I knew.  The others I didn't know.  One was Doug's housemate and another was Simon's mate.

Simon's mate was amusing when the gig was finished, he was buzzing!  All he was concerned about what finding a kebab to eat. LOL

The only recording device I have now is full of goddamn latency, and I can only get it to go away to an acceptable and usable level is when I boot up my computer, turn off Vista Aero (which kills system resources), leave the modem off, and absolutely not have any programs on other than the program recording the guitar.

Yeah, when I'm on Vista I have Aero turned off.  No use for it.

Well, I can record stuff, but with latency problems, it means I cannot record anything that will stay in time with the drums, but if I record standalone guitar, I may be able to do it now without rebooting.

This album is much more interesting this time around.  Yey!

Oh and I've had my junk food for the day... I had a 1/4 pounder with cheese from a kebab van on the way home. LOL

I've yet to hear them, what are they like?

Hmmm what is it with music with me recently... it all sounds so disappointing.

Not sure. That's kind of how I felt about music right before I got introduced to prog though.

That happens to me if I listen to too much music in a row (like even an hour or so for more than a few days in a row) and after listening heavily on the long term. It's kind of annoying, but I guess it gives my tinnitus a chance to recover.

But I've barely listened to much music recently... I mean, not compared to the amount I was listening to a while back.

I love this album, I'm so glad I put it on.  It's soul destroying.
