Velsharoon (pronounced VEL-shah-roon [1]), the Archmage of Necromancy, is a vain, selfish, petty, but very canny deity consumed with vengeance, obsessed with experimenting on living and dead beings, and unconcerned with the fates of lesser creatures. In many ways he continues to act like the mortal he recently was, albeit with far greater power at his disposal than before.

Are there Eberron novels? I only read the campaign setting and rulebooks. I've read Dragonlance though.

FR has the most novels and I don't play much PnP.

Eberron sucks anyhow.  Even Dark Sun pwns Eberron and Dark Sun wasn't great.

I was talking campaign setting, I don't know why but Eberron has always appealed to me

Yeah, I'm no fan of Eberron either. I like Faerun way better. Pathfinder owns everything though. They proved that Wizards are just lame. The developpers of Paizo did an awesome job.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Planescape moreso... Sigil was (and apparently is) amazing.

4e sucks though.

They've destroyed it by:

1. advancing the timeline 100 years in Forgotten Realms
2. changed the background for Tiefling and Aasimar
3. Moved Sigil
4. Killed Mystra
5. Got rid of Vancian magic
6. Destroyed many towns and cities in Faerun, including the birth town of my 2e PnP dwarf
7. Killed off the Duergar

Plus much more.

4th edition sucks. I said it over and over again. The rules, the settings, everything sucks in it IMO. 2th to 3.5th edition FR is the best campaign setting.

I rarely use existing campaign settings nowadays though. I prefer the one I created with my friends a while ago.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I'm sure 4e has destroyed stuff in Eberron as well but I wouldn't know.

I have no idea how it would affect Eberron... haven't read into it. Something tells me "post-apocolyptic" would be the situation
