Now it must be said that the songs speak of corruption, Camorra and the similars, are difficult to digest at the time (for this fact 'Follia' was censored by RAI, the Italian broacasting), even though the lyrics are light and predictable. However, it is not strange that the only song to be rediscovered in full Prog era had been 'Uomo Cosa Fai' which is the most Prog song of the album, which talks about the discomfort of a man who lives in a suburb any ... Almost that Fabio Celi wanted to take cue from Pier Paolo Pasolini, common theme to the POP 'Via Gaetano Argento', bonus track on CD. How sound organ and Moog (but would rather an organ and a Farfisa organ modified to sound like a Moog) dominate the album (not the two bonus tracks, that are POP with heavy lyrics, very close to Van Der Graaf Generator). So while the first two songs (especially 'Follia' that is recited) are pure Psychedelic Rock it is true that 'Il Capestro' and 'Il Presidente' are pure Rock songs. Vice versa true Prog are 'Uomo Cosa Fai' and the dramatic (is the story of a farmer who saw his fields turned into a suburb... From night to day... Sublime message of esteem for Pier Paolo Pasolini... As well as take a stand against modern society!) 'Distruzione' are 100% RPI. And in fact they are more reflective, the arrangements in 'Uomo Cosa Fai' and 'Distruzione' are the point of force of these songs. The production is flat and poor, doing well just to highlight the power of songs. So 'Uomo Cosa Fai' and 'Distruzione' lose much of their potential, even if they are aged well, as indeed the whole album. Fabio Celi sings always pissed, even if the tone softens dive serves.

In general I believe that 'Follia' is an album of 1969, because with pure Psychedelic Rock songs. Shame that the CD has been inserted (not after the songs of the album, the two bonus tracks signed fabio Celi) who have ruined a great album. Album that has aged extreme well. An another Italian obscure jewel that I recommended at all!!!
