Then you could take the stage, step up to the mike, and say "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We're The sh*tz!" etc.WinkLOL

Okay, okay -- just joshing!Ouch

You might have something there Peter. I remember a band called 'Plus Support' a while back (heh!).

I always thought that Gabble Rachet(Genesis-Supper's Ready) and Plague of Lighthouse Keepers(VdGG)were good names for bands of the genre.

Glad you liked Fantasy Wizzard penguindf12

Fantasy Wizzard was an imaginary prog band that we used on a joke flyer once who developed a concept album based on the game 'Cluedo'. All the characters in the game appeared in strange song titles like 'Col Mustard's Keen As Custard' or 'Prof Plum And The Magic Spanner' (that's a wrench for you guys in the US ).

I have a mate who is a non-prog fan who always uses the name Fantasy Wizzard, whenever he hears a prog track...I feel a mixture of pride and shame at that one

I like the name Qwerty Aztech

Unfortunately, Maestro was the name of a rather sad car sold in the UK during the 80's.

I was just picking up on a bit of aliteration and the "Beenz Meanz Heinz" type of thing from the 70's UK telly advertising!

How about  "Smooth as Ice" or "Slippery when wet!"

Legend has it that  Peter Townshend had a big hand in that ad campaign, aimed originally at Radio London and other pirate radio ship advertising - check out The Who Sell Out for clues.

Actually I wrote the Beenz Meanz Heinz advert.

And Stairway To Heaven and  most of Suppers Ready (and also therefore some of Grendel)

Read it in my biography " Lets Make Up Some Bollocks For A Fast Buck"
