Nice E. I listened to that one a couple of times this week. I really enjoy both the new songs and the newly recorded old songs. My ears aren't trained enough to detect much difference between the new singer and Steve Perry. |
Probably looked down upon by the prog snobs, but so be it. I started listening to these guys as a grade school kid and have always enjoyed the music. Actually like the post-Perry stuff quite a lot. Arrival is probably the best of the lot. E

There are a handful of us on here that enjoy Journey for what they are, there are those who only like what they first were, and there are those that just never liked them. I guess that applies to more than one band in the hallowed halls of PA.

Journey are actually amazing musicians (which I don't think anyone's ever argued). Schon could be one of the best guitarists out there. And Steve Smith is jaw dropping. Escape is essentially a drum clinic.

I didn't even realize this was out. May have to track this down. I still remember their concert on Thanksgiving night on the Synchronicity tour. A great concert that still ranks as one of my best. E

I bought it a couple of weekends ago and I am finally getting around to listening to it. I think that it is still a Best Buy exclusive. The version that I bought is 2 DVD/2 CDs. I am not sure if there are alternative versions or not.
