I'm attempting to write a review on Can's Tago Mago. We'll see if it works.

I'll read that when it's finished, see what you thought of it.

That Magma box would be epic... but hmm... is it worth it?  Hmmm...

Thinks for a while...

It's a very difficult album for me to rate simply because of how mood-based it is for me. If I'm in the really right mood for it, I can enjoy it quite a bit but then not want to listen to any more Can afterwards. If I'm not in the right mood at all, some parts can border on annoying or boring.

I think it depends on how many Magma CDs you had to begin with.  Since I had zero, this was a way of getting them at unheard of per CD cost.  But if you need to pay $150+ for the CD, it starts to not be worth it, as Wayside prices aren't too much pricier than that for most of the CDs.

Word on the street is the HC box won't be available until after Christmas, so I'll order it after the holidays.  Plus I need to order a version minus Stockholm & Goteborg, and I don't think that option will exist until the box set is officially released.

Damn, it registered that track as a weekly top artist and not a recently played tune... I deleted the track from the playlist because I didn't want it impinging on my Henry Cow marathon... I mean, yes it's Henry Cow and Robert Wyatt but I play those after official releases.

I was talking about this with Linus the other day.

I think Area in JR/F is a worse misclassification than Kultivator in Zeuhl.

Alright, I'm still here and I just posted the review.

Man, that's a tough album to rate or dissect.

Had a few beers and played Worms (!) with a friend a couple of hours. That game has aged well!
