Thank you. Now i need more people born around 1978 to come to this thread so we can slowly turn it into a DT appreciation thread.. Tongue Because with Magma we'll find that, even though age has arrived to The T's world, wisdom has safely passed him by...Tongue

just unbelievably dreadful, isn't it?  probably made him more money than he ever saw with egg, though.

Disillusioning, but pleasing in a twisted way. Can't explain in.

Hi Teo, I'm glad that you found our little corner of the PA universe.  Keep in mind that this thread was started in part because I was tired of the endless bashing of Rush in the Suede Room; that and I felt too old to hang around in there.  On the other hand, I don't speak the right version of English and was too young for the Shed; formerly the Grey Room.  I'd say for the most part the Rush-ites and the Magma-ites have learned to peacefully co-exist within here and hopefully we can peacefully co-exist with the DT-ites.

I don't know that it will turn in to a DT appreciation thread, but I do ask that my fellow Shred Roomers do stick to my one wish within this room, and that is to not bash other bands.  If you don't like another band and you wish to bash it, take that stuff to the Suede Room.  The Shred Room is meant to be a peaceful place for us to co-exist and have friendly banter with each other.  Oh yeah, my other rule is no Meshuggah on the Shred Room stereo, but many seem to like that stuff in the Suede Room so if you have the urge to hear Meshuggah, then if you can get in to the Suede Room when the RIO/Avant crowd isn't looking, then you will have the perfect listening environment. Wink

For some reason I just think that's funny and even healthy. Too much fundamentalism around here anyway LOL

I was listening to 4/3 de Trio's Ersatz on my iPod with the headphones on this morning, instead of on my iPod docking station.  As much as I had been enjoying it, listening to it on the headphones made it absolutely more stunning.

LOL  Sometimes it's a Canterbury day.  Wink

Listening to a lot of jazz and classical lately as well - downloaded a few Miles Davis albums yesterday.

Gloomy as always. It's nicely overcast but no rain. Today should be a fun day though

Morning Pat!

what temperature is it right now... I'm certainly not freezing. Wow, a Canadian is warmer than you? Maybe you're too close to the border, or maybe my thick Canadian hide is simply more used to the elements
