NICE!! ClapClap clappies for Purple albums! Though, you didn't have a lot of themAngryWink All of those are GREAT! The Live one is very good too, though Disc 1 is quite a mix of solo stuff from each member which isn't that GREAT.
And more clappies for Pendragon's purchaseClapClap Back in the SpotlightHeart

A really, really, really good DP live album that wasn't mentioned is "On the Wings of a Russian Foxbat - Live in California 1976" by the Mk IV lineup. Extremely superior to the dodgy "Last Concert in Japan". Plus, it's the full show across two CDs (well, actually I think 'Coming Home' was missing).

Cheers.-

I don't own that live one from the MK IV, but I do own King Biscuit Flower Hour which the versions of CTTE songs are AMAZING, and also have This Time Around which is almost as good as the previous, but Tommy uses too much wah-wah, and for me it ruins the songs.

You should get "Live in Tokyo 1975" instead of "Last Concert in Japan".
It's the full show, and probably with better sound aswell. Wink
Also, "Live in Denmark 1972" is really, really good! Clap

Exact same album!
It was released (around 1995) in Europe as "On the Wings..." and in the USA as "King Biscuit Flower Hour..." and with different covers too. Same content, tough Smile

"This Time Around" is the full show from Japan, remixed. That was late '75 and a bad time for Bolin.
"Foxbat/King Biscuit" howerver is from around March/76 in the USA where Bolin seemed to be getting himself together. Shame they disbanded soon after...

Ordered three CDs today

Gentle Giant's "Three Friends" (don't look now but their albums are becoming harder to find on the mainstream sites so I'm grabbing them up while they're still available and cheap)
Porcupine Tree's "Nil Recurring" EP (yeah, I know it's less than half an hour of music but I'm going through "tree" withdrawal and must....have....newer...tunes)
Tool's "Lateralus" (prog brother Zitro talked me into it but I've always been curious about these guys so it didn't take a lot of arm-twisting)
