I tried to get my friend to go with me, but she really didn't want to go, so I ended up going by myself.  I was going to buy 2 $20 seats, but since I went by myself I decided to buy a $40 seat.  The most expensive seats were $75.  My seated ended up being on the floor in the 8th row, center stage.  That made the experience that much more awesome.  I took a bunch of pictures with my cell phone.  I'm not sure how well they will come out though.  I had a hard time with Steve Howe, they way that the lights were on him he always ended up whited out.

Awesome. I know that when I had seats on S&A tour for this year, as opposed to general lawn last year, it definitely helped the experience.

2nd row S&A seats here Big smile

I bet that was stellar! Our venue was quite large, so I didn't want to shell out that kind of money. Nonetheless, we still had amazing seats.

I saw Rush from the 3rd row on the Roll the Bones tour.  This year I was in the top row in the lower bowl to the right of the stage.  They were pretty good seats.  No comparison to 2nd row, but I couldn't complain.

I saw them on the lawn on the Vapor Trails tour, and you could feel the heat all the way up there during the pyros on One Little Victory.  I'm surprised being that close that it didn't singe your eyebrows.

That could be the title of your review of the Snakes and Arrows Live CD or DVD if you haven't done those yet.

I wonder what that would sound like.

James would be so pissed off. LOL

In the headlines: "Progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator unites with classic rock group Van Halen for a new supergroup... VAN DER HALEN GENERATOR!!!" LOL

I think that not having a guitarist is what I find missing from VDGG.

I listened to Test for Echo on my drive to and from the concert and I was reminded of how much I love that album.  I'm really not sure why it is so sl*gged.  I still find Dog Years to be the only down song on that album, and musically it is still quite good.  The lyrics aren't the best, but there not as bad as I used to think that they were.
