I do bios so bands can get added, and The T, The Progtologist add the bands to the database (I'm a 4 star collab, so I don't have enough clearance to actually add bands). I evaluate stuff to see if it's prog or not and as said before, do the bios for bands that get the yes vote and get cleared for addition.

Prog Metal team is at 5 members now dude..... me and Plankowner filled the last two available positions AFAIK Prog Reviewer is open to everyone though pretty much. Even though you don't have frequent internet access, write reviews in wordpad or wherever and when you get to a comp with internet access, post 'em up.
If you want Eclectic Prog, that has positions, but doubt that's your kinda genre.

Well, that is the most accessible way to climb up the ladder, but I'm not specifically shooting for it. I'll take it though if they offer it to me.

Haha comparing last FM profiles.
You have the "fanboy" profile with one band with heaps more listens than everything else, and I've got this balanced "non fanboy" profile.

Well, I have had mine since 2005, and that was right after I had listened to nothing but Rush for 5 months. I was just discovering music and obviously haven't had access to all of my music. Over 3 years I'd say it works; it's spread apart across many tastes but it shows accurately really what I've been listening to. I also tend to go in spurts when listening to artists, rather than listening to 10 different artists in one day. Depends though.

Makes sense. The only reason why mine isn't as balanced yet is because some stuff wasn't on my computer until a few months into getting a profile. I listen to stuff pretty evenly really.

Yeah, not everything I ever listen to gets recorded on my last.fm... but a substantial amount does and it's accurate. I have a tendency to not listen to albums or artists too easily; it all depends on my mood and which ones I like more than others.
