I just put on Scenes from a Memory now. Let's see if it stays my favorite metal album for good reasons. Been a while since I heard it.

None of Dream Theater's albums were ever my top favorite metal albums for great lengths of time.
Maybe on a particular day at most, but that's it.

Rust In Peace springs to mind as one of the most well written metal albums made.
