My latest Kansas purchase was Audio-Visions.  I have the single disc version of Two For The Show; I haven't bought the new 2 disc version yet.  I've looked for it a couple of times in the local stores, but it wasn't in stock.

The new Two for the Show is mindblowingly good.  That second CD with all those great prog masterpieces (I can't believe they kicked it off with "Hopelessly Human")- great stuff.

And the rendition of "Miracles Out of Nowhere" is not to be missed.

I have very mixed feelings about Audio-Visions.  It's hard for me to rate it.  On the one hand, there's too much godawful Steve Walsh pop music in there.  On the other, there's "No One Together" which is almost in the ranks of "Song for America" and "The Pinnacle."

I need to hear that CD.

I'm pretty good! I stayed up late last night though so I actually just woke up not long ago.

I don't like sleeping in too late, but I'm glad I finally received a substantial amount. As to what I'm going to do today... I'm not sure yet. But I might start composing for Album 3 already, since I'm feeling in an inspired mood. Screw doing my last bits of school work until later. LOL

Bah, I know. Ouch

I really wish I knew more about this stupid copyright crap. I'm hoping to work on that today too.

Good morning, Alex.

You'll be pleased to hear that I've been listening to a bit of Henry Cow online.

Not bad, not bad at all.  Not necessarily my thing.  But good stuff nonetheless.

Ok, I think - well, I'm on 46,109 words now!!  Not far to go.  The story won't be finished in 50,000 words though, so I guess I'll have to keep writing...! LOL

Hello Alex by the way. Smile

And indeed 'goodbye'.  I think I should get back to my scribbling!!

Have a good day one and all. Hug

Stuff off Legend

I think one of the songs was something about nirvana for rats?  My son danced to that one a little bit.

I'm not writing a novel, but I am writing short stories right now. There's a contest I want to enter.

In fact, I still keep wondering if I should wait until the 2nd album's done (could be as early as January) to just release them both because they're both on the same concept/story anyway... but I'm not sure. I'll be meeting up hopefully with bandmates ASAP so I can bring that up.

I can always just release this album this year though and then release the 2nd one early next year.
