I have a couple of DT concerts on DVD, and I enjoy them; unfortunately, seeing them in person wasn't a very good experience.

I've seen Tiles 3 times this year, and Discipline twice.  All of these were in local venues where I was sitting or standing right next to the stage, so of course, these were pretty awesome shows too.

Sounds neat.

There are a few bands I'd really kill to see though, particularly Henry Cow or Magma. Doesn't look like either of those will ever happen for me, however. Ouch

You'll just have to get your band's manager to pull some strings and get you on the ticket for a Magma or Henry Cow tour.

Well I've seen VdGG twice and Hatfield and the North once.

Big smile

Seeing Guapo and Hawkwind next month. Approve

I've missed Colosseum, Ozric Tentacles and Focus though, in the past. Ouch

Might go and see Hugh Cornwell in January.

Morning Scott, only a three day week to get through, so no complaints here.

Pat, I must admit that this album

is pretty darn good.  I'm funny in that I like instrumentals, especially Rush instrumentals, but I generally don't like an album of instrumentals.  This one is pretty good though.

Yeah, that is a quality one.  I should listen to that more often.  Of course, I say that about any number of albums every day.  Confused

I know.  Too much music, not enough ears.

is the problem really number of ears, or amount of time?

It depends.  If you had a hundred ears, you might be able to listen to 50 albums at the same time, so time wouldn't be an issue. Wink

where are the locations of these ears? They'd need to be in different rooms so that the sounds didn't muddle one another. That or you could have a lot of headphones, but even with 2 ears I can't listen to 2 albums are the same time, one in each ear.

So we need to create some kind of mutant super-multi-tasker who would be the ultimate prog fan, is this what you're saying?

I think it's more of a brain problem.  50 ears would take in a lot of music but your brain would probably melt trying to decipher it all! LOL

I've been having a cheap and cheerful time over the weekend (musically speaking...) - so much lovely Italian music is on iTunes, for pennies!!  Osanna's 'Palepoli' for £1.99!!!! Shocked Big smile  There's a ton of other stuff that I want now.  All I need is an excuse to treat myself! Tongue
