I've really tried to appreciate those vocal tweaks, but most of it comes off as different shades of frustration, anger and insecurity. It's actually grating more than anything else. "Collapsing under its own weight"was the perfect description.

Which is exactly the point of the album, I think. The range of fears, of worries, of uncertainties which end up coming together into a personal definition (in 'We Go Now'), into a sense of identity and belonging. That is, for me, incredibly moving... and the solo at the end picks up on that perfectly... little elements coming together into larger and more powerful sounds, into a universal picture composed with the faces in the crowd.

I love that album Heart

Anyway, yes, Benefit again, I think, and I'm going to try to piece together a review this time round, though it's a bit difficult.
