I get that feeling from Deliverance, most of all, the "jaw must be picked up off floor" feeling. Ghost Reveries, not far behind in that regard.
Hmmm, perhaps there is one or 2 weaker tracks on Watershed, must be the reason why it doesn't quite get the immense wow factor of the aforementioned 2 albums. I started to learn Hessian Peel on guitar... some very cool riffs in that song actually.

GR, BWP, and Deliverance are just stunning to me. Damnation is right up there as well.
|
I feel their best are GR, BWP, Still Life, and Deliverance.
|
I don't care for Still Life that much, should listen to it more though.

I use to think BWP was Opeth's best album for the longest time until Still Life hit me like a ton of bricks. Although BWP does have Drapery, my favorite Opeth song.

Did, I mention, I can nearly play that solo from A Fair Judgement, starting from about 6:23-4ish, almost note for note now?

Nice. @ David: Drapery was the first song I heard from the band (PA sample), sucked me in right away.

Finland has incredibly high taxes. That's enough to merit complaining.
