And hello to Pat (Natural Spam Bot).

I don't know what to think of Watershed. It doesn't feel like their best, but yet, after I listen to it, it feels so inspiring to listen to ![Shrug Shrug](http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/images/smilies/shrug.gif) For example, After Systematic Chaos, I never have that "tingly" feeling after the album is done, but after listening to Watershed, I can still "feel it" even after the album is finished, if that makes sense. Honestly, I can't decide whether I really love Watershed or not.

Systematic Chaos just sucked. Pains me to say it, but there it is.

I know how you feel about that one. Perhaps not the best example then.
I just LOVEEEEEEEEEE Burden from Watershed. Holy crap, one of the most awesome power ballad songs I've heard. The guitar solos........ immaculate. Hell, even the keyboard solo is amazing. I would not change a single detail, in the phrasing of those solos. I've tried playing over that same chord progression, and realized their solos are much in the same way I'd approach them.... some generally bluesy licks, with some faster stuff in between.

No, I know what you mean. There are some great moments in Watershed but I don't "feel" it. Whereas I can remember the first time I heard Ghost Reveries and had to pick my jaw up off the floor.

I get that feeling from Deliverance, most of all, the "jaw must be picked up off floor" feeling. Ghost Reveries, not far behind in that regard.
Hmmm, perhaps there is one or 2 weaker tracks on Watershed, must be the reason why it doesn't quite get the immense wow factor of the aforementioned 2 albums. I started to learn Hessian Peel on guitar... some very cool riffs in that song actually.

GR, BWP, and Deliverance are just stunning to me. Damnation is right up there as well.

BWP too, can't forgot that. Damnation, was more 4 stars to me, not quite 5.
HOLY CRAP, but Prog Metal backlog is not as much to cover as I first thought!
YES!
We might even really catch up in the next month, having cleared the current list, and then onwards, the list would only contain new suggestions:D
