A three   hour live radio show takes me  4 to 5 hours to programme...a lot of stuff gets rejected because it doesn't quite fit that week

The Who was the first oncert I ever saw in 1975 still with Keith Moon.....it was crammed and there was only  some free place just in front of the wall of speakers.... once the concert started I realized why...great concert so....

Just been speaking with Scott McGill (ex. Finneus Gauge, Handfarm, A Triggering Myth - now teaching music on the English Coast) and he's agreed to join me via telephone for an informal interview on Thursday 4th December around 9.05/9.10pm, on the Alternative Alternative Show. Questions are invited.

Spot the movie!?
Strange, yesterday having a lie-in, listened repeatedly to EST's Premonition and Bumblefoot's I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You - musically a million miles apart  but each something that appealed to me. Hence the uncertainity of labelling Bumblefoot 's (aka Ron Thal) music . Thal's approach is attack this standard as Sid Vicious attacked My Way (even adopting some clipped Londonese), but then drifts into mock Tom Jones), before going shred, then chuck in change of pace, and echo of the originally instrumental break - and you have a tune that you will have to listen to several times, to make sure you don't miss anything (especially if you didn't believe it the first time!).

In other words a show with the usual unusualness
