Does anyone here know where to find reasonably priced Osanna albums in North-America and care to share their secret???  Confused

I find a great record store in Quebec City that actually has Italian Prog (among other tasty treats), but the guys there actually laughed and said "good luck with that!" when I asked for some Osanna...Unhappy

ouch...  checked the major brick and mortars June...   you did say reasonable.. and unless you consider 40-50 bucks a pop reasonable hahah..  no dice man.  Afraid the only way to go with Osanna is through the internet stores.  Though mom and pops can work... got much of my German stuff through this old hippy in North Carolina that ran a nasty looking album store in the hood... but the man knew his Krautrock.. great prices.  Make sure that guy at the record store checks all his distributors... I know the hippy had 3 different ones for his foreign stuff.. and the prices and availability varied quite a bit.

In Italy you'd be able to get Palepoli for less than 10 euros (at least this is what I saw some time ago). You could try some Italian distributors, but I'm afraid the postage and packing would add to the price. Anyway, you can try www.btf.it, which sells Palepoli for about 17 dollars.

oh yeah.. two new 'victims' this week .... got two guys at work with Sulle Corde di Aries..

The album.. and Sequenze e Frequenze in particular left them speechless....  taken to another plane of existence.. much safer... and better than any drug.

Sulle Corde di Aries...yes, need to get that one.

Fetus really isn't as much an experience as Pollution, and SCdA seems to be the crowning achievement.

over in the Marimba thread.. which figures PROMINENTLY in the second half of Sequenze e Frequenze...  I posted a link to Amazon where they had a couple of reviews of the album.  Both were glowing...  trust me bro' ... money well spent.  That has a Micky back guarantee on the album. As long as you understand what it is you are getting.. it ain't f**king Genesis LOL

hahahhaha...   I don't know... but I'm cheap...I'd settle for a kiss LOLLOL

In all seriousness.... this site.. the primary prog site on the web... is also the worst I've seen for recognizing his music.. and the artist.  That might have a lot to do with the demographics here...  with old school proggers.. hard core ones that populate many other sites.  Like was mentioned one time... you'll actually have discussions about which Battiato album is best. Here...  you'll be lucky to find more than a dozen that have heard more than one or two.

Battiato is my pet project here.  Zappa was a huge fan of his.. recognized his genious..  guess that is my mission.  Spread the word... yet not cross the fine line like Magma fans do.. of being pests.. so I don't push..  just quietly spread the word.

Oh you're lucky this thread isn't viewed by more...eclectic ...eyesWink

One day I'll finally bite the bullet...make you proud and start with Aires, but I need to have time to set aside as is the case anytime I try something out of left field.  Right now I'm in a country/blues/folk phase and ...well, I just don't think Franco would jive too well with thatLOL
