Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Errrrrrrrr........... I take it you missed the thread thats been up for the last couple of weeks about there new album out early next year, or the fact that they've been playing new materiel on tour for most of the year now.

Besides, the end of year gigs in London are pretty much traditional now.

Anybody heard their new unreleased stuff for the proposed new album?  If so, what's it like?

No Pete at Bury?  from the IQ site

It is with regret that we have to inform you that Peter Nicholls will not be able to make the show at the Colos-Saal on Saturday night.

As many of you are aware, Peter was struck down with a very bad case of pneumonia at the start of the year. Thankfully he recovered and was able to play the Summersend Festival.

However, last week he developed similar symptoms and his doctor has advised him to rest his voice for at least 7 days until further tests are carried out. He is on a strong course of antibiotics and hopefully he should be well on the road to recovery within a week providing all the results come back clear.

We will update you further on the status of the Bury show later next week.

After discussions with the promoter, Marcus Wicker, IQ have decided that the show must go on and will perform as a 4 piece with John Jowitt stepping up to the plate for vocal duties.

We are as disappointed as you but trust that you understand Peter’s health is of the utmost importance to us and this is the only solution possible.

See you all on Saturday, have a safe journey to the venue.
and oh how they danced, the little people of Stonehenge
