Shacked up with Babs and pretty much stopped making anything remotely like progressive music.

You mean since the "hit single" era with his wife Barbara Gaskin? Not sure... I don't think I've heard much of him since the 1980s.

Old joke: In the 1980's and 90's Dave Stewart pitched for the Oakland A's. He was also a member of the new wave pop band the Eurythmics (not).

Actually, Dave Stewart and Dave Stewart have guested on an album together. One of them was credited differently though, to differentiate them.

Are you sure it's the genuine article? Or did you just photoshot that?

Holy smokes, it has One for Lee (or Seven for Lee/Me) on it.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!
I'm getting this, along with Kultivator and some Isotope on my next Wayside order.

I was searching Amazon to get the Soft Heap image to post in "What are you listening to now?", and that came up. Pretty much ordered it without even thinking.

I wonder if this version of Seven for Lee/Seven for Me will eclipse the amazing version on Elton Dean's BBC recordings?
Hmmm!

Now listening to Ninesense live at the BBC. It's an Elton Dean type of day, apparently.

That's the one I mean.
My brain is dead today... I was going to say Elton Dean's Unlimited Saxophone Company but that's a different album.
Ninesense BBC is excellent.

Yeah, keep putting that off. I think mindawn has some albums, might visit there tonight. BTW, also saw that Wayside should have a re-release of Two Rainbows Daily in the near future.

Scotty boy, I posted a review of that Mekhlin album that you were telling me about. Just thought I'd give you a heads up! |
Thanks Mikey. I like it. I listened to them again yesterday. I'm formulating a review in my head. Maybe by the weekend I'll put pen to paper; or in this case, fingers to keyboard.
