All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain..we can be like they are
Come on baby...don't fear the reaper
Baby take my hand...don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly...don't fear the reaper
Baby I'm your man... Lallallalllalllaalllaaaaaaaaa....

Just imagine all the squeaking leather the day of this photo shoot. Probably sounded like a stable full of flatulent horses. Big smile

Hi Antoine,  I can tell you from using Mike's prog freak website, that I bought this album in March of 2008, and this is only the 3rd time that I am listening to it.  I used to be a huge ELP fan, but I was not aware of this band until a discussion here in the forums.  I actually purchased Old Loves Die Hard and Pompeii on-line last week and I received Old Loves Die Hard on Saturday, and Pompeii yesterday.  Both will be getting first listens from me today, but I wanted to start with Illusions on a Double Dimple.  I really like this one, so hopefully I am going to enjoy the other two too.  They have gotten pretty decent reviews here on PA.

My copy isn't a Japanese pressing, but that was the picture that they had on Amazon, so that is what I used. LOL

Good afternoon (well, evening actually...) Antoine. Smile Don't know this album of Beck (only Blow by Blow and wired). How is it?

For me time for good ol' Hungarian prog:

Hi Bartek

This is the very first album of Jeff Beck back in 1967-1968.............nothing to do with Jazz fusin from Blow by blow.
Only very good blues-rock with unknows at the time who became big stars later.
This is the first album for some young Scot singer named Rod Stewart...Ron Wood plays too...on bass!!
Very well produced, sound is maginificent....an album to own!!ClapWink

Yes....good band, but not the way for me to enjoy their albums

My Faves:
1) Mediterranean Tales...their first album
2) illusions.............this one......their second
3) Spartacus......their third
4) loves hard.....their fourth.........good instrumentals but VERY cheesy vocals
5) Pompei.......their fifth

As you can see, there is a pattern....only going downhillLOLWink

Your list is similar to the PA ordering except that Mediterranean Tales and Old Loves Die Hard are tied for third.  Both are at 3.81; IODD is 4.02, and Spartacus is 3.92.  Pompeii is 3.22, and the last two albums are both in the 1 range. Ouch
