Hey Erik, Congratulation dude!!! Part 4 was the best yet, I really enjoyed the personal stories, very touching in a lot of ways. Its funny how a musical instrument can bring out strong emotions in people.
It was interesting to hear how the Hammond's inventor hated jazz and blues. I bet Lord (on In Rock) and Emerson (in the Nice) would seem like living nightmares.
Thanks for including the "shout outs" to my musical compadres. There are so many great unrecognized musicians out there.
P.S. I just realized Morrison is passed out in the above picture, the band doesn't seem too suprised.

About Jim Morrison, I have read all the books about The Doors and Jim Morrison, it's incredible that the other members had so much patience with Jim, only Jim Densmore frequently opposed against Jim his often sociopathic behaviour.

The band plays tight (with good guitar play and pleasant work on the harmonica) and enthousiastically, in two songs there is a contribution by Jimmy Barnes. He sings very emotionally and expressive, it's very compelling to listen to the interplay between his vocals and John his bluesy Hammond organ sound. This is a DVD to check out if you like blues and the Hammond organ!

Easy Money, I read your Brian Auger "Auger's Live Oblivion Express Volume 2", for sure I am going to check it out for my Hammond article.

Mystic Fred, I saw Don Airey with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, excellent keyboardplayer and I love his Minimoog work in Colosseum II but on the Hammond he's very good too

Sound v. interesting - andI like a lot of Jimmy Barnes' work - pub rock band singer par excellence, who did some fine work with Cold Chisel in the 80's - Swingshift their live album has some Hammond.

I have always said Barbara is the best on the Hammond; her foot technique is incredible. Friede and I have been to a concert of her, and to see that foot in perpetual motion is an amazing sight. At one point she did a double foot solo on the pedals (she usually uses her right foot for volume control) without keys which would have made many a bass player put away his bass forever.
As great as she is though I think she is not fitted for the archives because her territory is jazz, although sometimes she really rocks; just have a look at this video (and listen to the incredible bass lines she plays with her foot):
