Well obviously the classics (i.e. Don Cab, Hella, etc. etc.) but I'm a bigger fan of the more out of the box stuff, my newest favorites are This Town Needs Guns, We're From Japan!, Sweep The Leg Johnny, and although they wouldn't be enough MR to get added to PA (probably), the band I'm listening to now is just mindblowing, Uzi and Ari. |
Cool. I need to check them out. I like punk, hardcore etc, and it's only logical I need to get some math. I've heard Don Cab, Hella and a few others on myspace, but now I need some full albums. An underrated genre.

Not sure, since I'm not watching it.  Had dinner at a new pizza place tonight and got a barbeque chicken and bacon pizza. And instead of pizza sauce, they used barbeque sauce. It was awesome!  What's up with you?

Harry, it worked in reverse for me! After I got heavy into math rock, I started turning to more punk-fueled indie stuff. Not really too sure I can judge anything hardcore, haven't heard much of anything. Wanna recommend me some good tunes?

Well, I'm more of a Post Hardcore dude really.
At The Drive In and Refused are my two fave Post Hardcore bands.
ATDI, as you might be aware, features the same vocalist and guitarist from TMV.

Every now and then, I think about starting a Post Hardcore band instead of a metal band, but a more Post Hardcore/Tech kinda thing.

I like straight metal, but I have been a fan for years though, so that makes sense.
But in terms of being in a band, I have always wanted to incorporate many genres in one thing.
I guess I get bored playing only one genre.
