What if he gets a haircut and a job before then? He could get stuck in the 50,000s.

Hmm... perhaps, but I'd see him getting stuck in the 80,000s first. |

Is the description for that zeuhl dude accurate? Oh, and congrats on the "upgrade" of sorts to site monitor. Hopefully you'll use your new-found tools with responsibility. Edited by birdwithteeth11 - November 07 2008 at 18:01 |

Is that anything like Alex's zeuhl-ism from one of his polls? Darned if I can remember what it was now though.

Looks accurate to me. I really like 'Contact' (with the odd reservation... my review is on that page, for anyone who is bored enough to read it!! ), wasn't much impressed by 'Ceux d'en face'. 'Contact' features the rhythm section from One Shot , and they really give the thing some vim and vigour! 'Ceux d'en face' is just Thollot and sounds very disjointed to me (although I've only heard it a coupla times). [It's just not Zeuhl if the drumming's mediocre. ] Whilst I'm in here... Ruins = ! At least, from the two albums I got off emusic the other day. 'Vrresto' is marvellous! |

Yes, I like Francois Thollot but he is really not good at drums. Like at all. Getting Bussonnet and Jeand'heur to play for you = good idea. |

I believe that you gave a particular band the term Zeuhl metal or called them a Metal Zeuhl band or something along those lines.

That would be Pork Tree, a fictitious death zeuhl band he and I came up with. Kind of a combination of Magma and Opeth. Also it would get started in Hawaii to claim the rights of first zeuhl band to come out of Hawaii. I know, it's a pretty pointless fact, but it's still a hilarious concept. |

I don't remember seeing the Pork Tree reference, but that did remind me of what I did see. He termed Opeth as a death zeuhl band; this probably was the percursor to coming up with Pork Tree.
