Um...wow.  Definitely the first time I've heard "dull" applied to the band.  Oh well, opinions.... Tongue

Sorry, sorry...! Embarrassed  That was probably a poor choice of words.  Like I said, it's probably lack of attention on my part!  I haven't listened to it enough yet to have a firm opinion - just waiting to be 'grabbed' by it... Tongue

The only track I am not overly keen on by Henry Cow is probably their least "dull" track War.

It just doesn't work for me that well... yet everyone else loves it.

Oh dear, I hope Pat doesn't hate me now!!  I'm not going to give up on Henry Cow, so many people whose opinions I respect think highly of them and it's still early days...

Meanwhile, I'm off for a bit - I have the house to myself so I'm going to play the piano as loud as I dare. Wink

I have a house to myself too but I cannot tinkle the ivories, 'cause I don't have a piano.

Plus I'm rather tired tonight, which isn't good.  That means I shall now take a break and return later.

Have fun, Melissa!

Henry Cow wortz mekanik.

*hides from Alex anyway* Shocked Confused

CryCryCry

Keep trying. It took me a few listens to start to really like it.

Hey, Pat! Not much. Worked on my tax thesis a bit earlier, but I need to clear my mind of it for another day or two before I work on it again. I've been relaxing for a while now and thought I'd see if anyone's on here. Then I may go exercise bike, play a video game or two, and then drum. Not entirely sure yet.

Oh, and our band's album is done! Big smilex1000

I'm excited that it's finally done and now I can work more on the second one. The second one shouldn't take near as long to finish up since I already have a substantial amount done. I spent nearly 2 hours last night though reading up on copyrighting and trademarks. I'll have to figure all of that out soon before I even think about putting the downloads on our website for free download.

How about you?

Can't wait to hear the album.  Smile
Not much here, working, same old crap.  It's depressing to leave work in the dark, but whatever.

I was afraid to listen to it the other night because I thought I'd end up being really critical of it... but I actually am satisfied with it and wouldn't change anything. I'm even more excited about the next one though and I can tell my songwriting has heavily improved already. I also don't intend on remaining stagnant with my sound at all; there could be decent changes in sound from album to album because I treat each one separately. The first one is/will be our most ambient, I know that much.

I like how it gets dark early near the winter time, actually. Big smile

But I'm weird. Wink

I will too. LOL

It will only be a matter of time before they're 2nd on that list.

Indeed, I agree. It may be a reflection of a current mindset though and Magma and HC may fight for 2nd (Ozrics might too); we'll just have to wait and find out how they develop.

Considering I've had these charts for almost 3 years now, I'm pretty satisfied in the way it looks.
