It's good to see you back here again.  Yes, our time together was far too short, it was a little disappointing.  Alas though, we did get on together, so that was all good!

I am sure there will be further occasions when we'll meet up too.  Keep me informed about that Guapo gig too, I really want to go to that!

Oh and sorry to hear you're having a mixed time right now.  It's good that things are going excellent in one corner though.

I haven't listened to any music for a week... what's going on? Shocked

James! Tongue

I checked re. Guapo again today and couldn't find any new useful info - still, I'll keep an eye out!  It would indeed be great to go to that! Big smile  As soon as I find out more, I'll drop you a PM. Wink

I've not been listening to very much of late (been too busy!).  But I just grabbed a coupla albums from emusic: Henry Cow's 'Western Culture' (yep, still dutifully intruding a sceptical toe into that sock of doom... haven't heard this yet though) and Ruins' 'Tzomborgha'.  Having a go with the Ruins right now - and first impression is, I like it! Thumbs Up  That Yoshida, what on earth does he eat for breakfast?!  He's got the energy of ten ADHD toddlers!  I'm glad I waited before acquiring this, I think my ears have been nicely prepared by now...

You will.

Say it 100 times and it may turn out that way!

My theory: they would have put in 'Wurdah Ïtah' (it may be sort-of under the name of CV rather than Magma, but still...) - except that they had all these hundreds of boxes of unwanted 'Merci' CDs lying around the store room, and thought this might be the ideal way to get rid of them... Wink

...I still haven't heard 'Merci'.  A case of 'Thanks, but No Thanks'...! Embarrassed LOL

I am reliving my youth right now, watching Superman: The Movie on DVD.  I had asked for the Superman movies last Christmas, and I got Superman III & IV.  I finally got around to buying I & II, so I am now revisiting them.  About as cheesy as I remember it, but I still enjoy it; and the soundtrack is pretty good.

You gotta like a superhero that "fights for truth, justice, and the American way".

He just happened to spout that line; that's why I quoted it.

It does sound like something that he would say.

Actually it was kind of funny.  Just after that he said "I never lie", and then Lois mention Clark, and he acted ignorant like he didn't know who Clark was.  Kind of sounds like a lie to me.  And also something that a politician might say.

Like politicians, Superman believes that "a little white lie never hurt anyone"
