sure, beets have tons of sugar..  I once saw a calves liver chocolate cake, it actually looked edible

In Italy there used to be a dessert called "sanguinaccio", a rich chocolate pudding made with pigs' blood, whose sale is not allowed nowadays. I've never tried it, but I have a couple of recipes for it, which you could attempt if you lived on a farm and slaughtered your own animalsDead.

Well, Micky does drive a van (a yellow one), but there would definitely be no room at the back... All his work stuff is there, and you should hear the racket it makes every time it moves!Wink

If it were at all possible, Vicky and I would join you at the Peel, but a works do on Friday followed by work on Saturday prevents... Maybe a couple of beers at Riffs in the not too distant future??

Anyone good playing at Riffs on the 15th?

Good call, sir

Rach?

He's sleeping now... Was up until before midnight, but then he went to sleep. He's doing an important job these days, and needs his rest. I'm sure he'll show all his joy when he gets back online.

At the moment, though, I am rather pissed off, because I've been waiting for the movers since 8 a.m. (even if I had been warned they would come later due to heavy traffic). I can't wait to get this over and done with... My flat looks like a damn warehouse, and I am so sad at having to part with my CDs for heaven knows how longUnhappy.

I once had them in a very potent Xmas cake, long ago and far away. It made for an interesting new years eve.

We had a 'hippie' type member of staff running one of our small sites in the Lake District, a number of years ago, who made flapjack out of them, which he had kept in the catering kitchen for staff consumption only.  (Fairly reliable) Legend has it, that he didn't label the plastic container as such...Embarrassed

I've always had this image of school children 'flying' over Great Gable...Pinch

Headmaster: "You're more out of it than me... what abaaat the kiddies?"

I had a senior moment then and though that said Dropstone.

That band features my mate Mark.

However, it's not that band. LOL

I may try and come along but I have a feeling I'm seeing Hawkwind around that time.
