I plan on voting in everything I can starting next year though. I'm quite involved in politics.

Oh god. Confused

I'll be watching the results come in. Embarrassed

My mom told me to call her as soon as the results are in. I told her she won't need to worry; it's not like nobody will talk about the future leader of the USA in other countries.

It could quite drastically change what is to happen over the next 4 years, particularly with the house all Democratic.

My very succinct predictions:
If Obama gets in, it will be another Carter administration. Dead

If McCain gets in, the economy will take an upturn after a few years. Not much will change otherwise, because the Republican/Democratic house and president lock will prevent any party from passing particular legislature. The next 4 years would be easily tolerable, but nothing revolutionary.

As long as you don't personally run for office. Although I don't see you as that type of person.

I like Palin more than I do McCain; they're both alright. My candidate that I really wanted to make it didn't progress past Super Tuesday.

Did they run Ayn Rand's corpse? :P

Pigasus is a better candidate than McCain/Palin could ever dream to be:

If you liked Jimmy Carter, then I can see why you think that. Tongue

Dude, they should seriously have Ayn Rand's corpse to run for President. Nothing would be accomplished, which is so much better than continuously taking steps in the wrong direction. LOL

Pigasus owned.

Now, HE was a breath of fresh air. Well maybe not that fresh but certainly a breath of air.

I wasn't around in Carter's time.

I just know McCain and Palin are evil.  I think I may prefer Bush over that ugly mutton dressed as lamb... ewww!  It's not about looks though... she's just an evil person.

But Thatcher and Reagan were Chaotic Evil... I don't think Palin's THAT bad.  They're certainly not Lawful Evil though.

Isn't Lawful Evil the more typical type of evil whereas Chaotic Evil is the one where you basically just kill anyone who gets in your way? That's the way I've always thought about it. Also why you can't have a D&D group where someone's character is Chaotic Evil, they'll attack everyone else eventually.LOL

She'd be as evil if she was smart enough to be. Wink
