But honestly, an Opeth CD is more worthwhile than a mellotron anyway.

Wisest thing I've heard all day.Clap

Nope.

'cause you can download an Opeth single.

You have to use a proper Mellotron to get the authentic Mellotron sound.  Which, as it happens, is used by Stephen Wilson and King Crimson.

Anekdoten use two.  So do Mort Macabre.

Also, there is a resale value, 'cause there's none currently on eBay (worldwide), so if Alex had one and put it on eBay, it'd go for crazy money.

Exactly.

I would like one even without the re-sale value too. It'd be pretty cool to mess around with it.

Zeuhl Kitty has gone commercial again and is bopping to Road to Nowhere by Talking Heads... only this is a David Byrne live solo version.

And what on earth is a steel bass all about?

I saw one the other day and it sounded like a normal bass... looked nice though!

Well, I think it was a resonator bass.  It kind of looks like the one above.

Sounded normal though.

Hmm... I'm not sure. Maybe I'll have to look into that sometime soon now.
