Seriously, would both of you stop spamming SO much? The amount of absolutely nonsensical and irrelevant posts really is becoming sickening. Why don't you bring up a discussion instead?

Yeah, David is right. The names would get stupider and stupider anyway, as each SR went on. TBH, the references in the names in the Velvet Rooms were much more clever.
Okay discussion.
Last night I listen to SFAM for the first time in about 3 months. It was not bad.

Hmm... I suppose. But at least now it doesn't really matter. Everyone seems to be content with the new policy.
Okay discussion.

That's definitely my favorite Dream Theater album.

And, really, I didn't mean to be critical about the amount of spamming as if I'm getting on you guys or anything. Randomness is fine, I just didn't want things to go absolutely overboard; I hope you understand what I mean.

I dunno, it's like: WTF HAPPENED TO THAT BAND?
They haven't brought out a truly brilliant recording for 9 years. 9 freaking years.

Yes, the spamming is getting silly.
It's not even an Internet meme now, it's not popular enough!
So yes, quit the spamming or get the hell out of here!

I very much liked Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence too, but I agree with you there. Systematic Chaos just feels like DT by the numbers to me, Octavarium's first and last tracks were good but didn't hold up as well to their expectations besides that, and Train of Thought was pretty odd as well. This last album will make or break my interest in future Dream Theater, to be honest.

Oh and Alex, did you notice any jealousy lurking in your system earlier? If so, it was entirely down to me. Sorry.

You seem more irritated with it than I do even.

SYSTEMATIC CHAOS: Dream Theater, business as usual They went from mind f**k, to complete suck. Prog Metal in general is very downhill lately anyway, hence why I'm looking out more for Tech/Extreme stuff now.

If I ever saw a mellotron in the street, I wouldn't be sure if I would take it home, or completely smash it to pieces.

Take it home, they're expensive. Then play some Moody Blues on it.
