Hey Mike.  How are things in gloomy BC?  My buddies from HockeyTown, the Red Wings, are up there paying you a visit this weekend.

Oh, I don't work in the city, I work out in the suburbs.  No, I wouldn't dream of trying to get anywhere near that insanity.  Estimates are probably that 2 million people will be there, and there might be a lot more than that.

Estradasphere is a really cool avant group. They're rather enjoyable and quirky. Palace of Mirrors is pretty cool.

It is a pretty rocking instrumental with the usual suspects as well as violin, trumpet, and accordion.

Here is a link with the download.  http://www.rosfest.com/Performers-2009/Estradasphere.htm  I'm quite certain that you will like it Pat.

Is anyone familiar with Estradasphere?  They are listed as RIO/Avant.  I downloaded the song The Return from their album Palace of Mirrors from the ROSFest website.  This song was quite good.  Is it representative of their sound?

Good day fellow Shred Roomers.  Interestingly, I was listening to Hall & Oates album Abandoned Luncheonette for the first time in the car last night and this morning, and it is quite good.  It was released in 1974 and although a pop rock album it has very much a jazz rock feel in the vein of Steely Dan.  I didn't really expect that from the Sara Smiles duo.

Anyhow, starting the day off with VDGG's Pawn Hearts.  That should please many of you.  VDGG's not really my thing yet, but I'm working at it, and maybe one day I will see the light that so many of you have already seen.

I guess not.  I must have been thinking of a different movie.  The only recent Rounders movie that I found was a Matt Damon movie where he was a gambler.

Edit: I must have been thinking about Kevin "six degrees of separation" Bacon's Tremors, but I am not sure how I got Rounders out of that. Confused

I thought that Rounders was a movie with underground worms kind of like those from Dune.
