Who needs patience when there's a huge pile of washing up to be done, and they still fall for the old "right, first one with their hand up" trick?
It was a good week but I was surprised at how many kids turned up for a few days hiking on the North Yorkshire Moors with trainers instead of boots, no waterproofs and no rucksacks. It's not the kids' fault, but don't the parents consider what the weather might be?

I think it's known as Darwinian evolution, Alan...
BTW - to all those here who are to see the Pendies this weekend, have a good one & if Rach takes any lardy cake, send me a bit. |

last check before I pack the puter up...........
I have just made a big batch of coconut & choc muffins, blueberry muffins, a lemon drizzle cake and a big old fashioned fruitcake. That should keep the boys happy over the weekend............ doubt if there will be any left by Sunday though! Now to pace up and down until my lovely boy returns! Chopper, you're right, kids don't know about walking boots and kagools anymore! (mine do!) still, good to hear they still do the washing up! ha ha ha! Good to hear it was a succesful trip! |

That gives me a cue for the famous Chicken Tarka joke.
What's a Chicken Tarka? It's like a Chicken Tikka only it's a little 'otter. Boom boom. |
