Last one:

Two members of this symphonic rock band were among the reformed lineup in 1998

Who is Spock's Beard?

That's a really good question, especially for a prog site, IMO. One of those random bits of useless information that's intriguing.

Good rounds again, Robert! Clap

Thanks a lot!

I used to play Jeopardy with my students, but now I have no students thanks to statewide budget cuts.  Cry  I just enjoy it!

By the way, I almost made it on College-level Jeopardy a few years back.

By my count, you got 50 points (I could be off, though)

It is alot of fun! Big smile

That's neat! I would have never been too good at real Jeopardy (particularly on television, I'd rather answer them in my head while watching), only prog Jeopardy. Tongue

Haha, awesome. I pwned. LOL

For round 4 though hopefully we'll get a pretty good crowd. There have been a few points so far where we've gotten some good responses. I think it's very dependent on certain exact times where particular members tend to be online.

I made the call backs, but it got tough, particular since the college version asks a lot about pop culture.

I was the only one who knew Raskolinov was the protagonist of Crime and Punishment, though!

A game does take a good bit of time (like three hours), due to everything having to be typed.  And since the site is international, it makes it hard for people to play.  Any ideas?

Haha, nice. Clap

That's oen reason I'd suck on Jeopardy; the categories about pop culture, movies, etc. or anything like that I would absolutely crash and burn on. Similarly with religious/bible/certain history categories. LOL

Maybe we should propose a time or figure out a time for the game once, twice, thrice (whatever) every week where a certain amount of members will be able to set aside some time pretty often.

I'm not sure what would be the best time for everyone though. What do you think?

Perhaps we could do a poll here in the Just for Fun section?

All right.  I'll make a poll here asking what times are best for those interested.  I'll only include times I'm available (naturally).  No 2am times for me!

Alright. I'll try to keep to the time that we pick too, but of course it'll depend on my schedule/homework load, etc.

Generally I'm pretty open most of the time to re-arranging my schedule, however.
