This photo is from August last year (or perhaps early September, can't remember exactly).

An Ex girlfriend of mine and me on the right.
Hate her guts now, but at the very least, that was a fun day I spent with her.
Broke up two weeks after that photo was taken.

Here are a few pictures I took a few days ago.  My first time really using a digital camera, but I think they turned out well.

Nice pics! Thumbs Up

What area is that? (Your declared "planet Gong" location tells me nothing real.) Looks like some pretty countryside -- that dirt road is calling my KLR! Smile

Nice pumpkin patch, BTW -- USA? England perchance? (I can't tell if that wheelbarrow is right-hand drive....Wink)
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

Thank you.  The region is Ulster County, New York, taken from about a 1.5-2 hours walk from my college campus at SUNY New Paltz.  I plan on taking more pictures sometime soon, if the weather and my stamina unite in harmony.  Even better would be if I could borrow or buy a bicycle (I'm a freshmen so we can't have a car on campus, and I really do not miss it).

^ Ah.

I suspected north-eastern US (somewhere temperate, but significantly south of here in north Ontario, in any case -- our leaves are well gone). I have driven through upstate New York. It has some lovely pastoral scenery.

This summer, I drove back up to Canada from Boston through Vermont -- those green mountains & farms were lovely!Thumbs Up

Good luck in university -- remember what you're there for, and work hard -- if you do, you'll never regret it!Smile

Vermont and New Hampshire are really beautiful.  A shame I could only spend a few weeks there back in my boy scout days at summer camp.

I'm from New Jersey, but going to college in New York was ultimately less expensive because of really high NJ taxes.  So far, I really enjoy this area, and the people have been generally much more intelligent, interesting, and friendly than in high school, although I still often stick to myself.

Wandering around in nature listening to some slow, dreamy, ethereal music is one of the greatest sensations I have ever had.  Really hope I can take a few more days off to do this, but it's difficult with the chilly/rainy weather in addition to the college workload.

Thanks for the wishes.  I've been working harder than in high school, where I slacked off, and have been doing well for the most part.  Still undecided with what to do, but in a way I prefer to be less decided and more open.

Wow, I havn't been on the archives in a while. Here's some more random pics from college life:

Me, Ralph, and Laura in a toy store at State College, PA while we were waiting to see a play:

I'm a straight up gangsta, even on a pink pony!
