I used to cut up paper bags and make covers for my school books, and this was drawn on one of them ... 6th or 7th grade? Seems so long ago...

Well you're 39 now, if you don't consider it quite a long time, then, you have lost the notion of time

Yeah, I was expecting your reply also. It isn't amazing, but it's cool, with fine acoustic moments, quite a lot of flute, and Martin's "heavy" guitar gives it a very dark though good feel. Way to go Antoine's odd but effective taste on Tull!

Serge Gainsbourg - Histoire de Melody Nelson

reminds me i still need to check this one out. from memory he put together the arrangments for the aforementioned album.

Jean-Claude Vannier - L'enfant assassin des mouches

next will be:

William Sheller - Lux Aeterna (again more lovely quirky french pop)

having a very french day, i've also got two Robert Bresson moives to watch at some stage throughout the day.

I like that album a lot, it's got some of Tull's more "metal" moments on it. North Sea Oil and Something's On The Move are two of my favorite short Tull songs while Flying Dutchman never fails to give me goosebumps.

Still, some of the other stuff doesn't sit well with me, I either forget about it or just don't care for it. Orion and Home have always felt very weak to me.

Love live those Heavy Horses! LOL

Right now, listening to "Sola Scriptura" by Neal Morse... there are still tracks from his past on SB, but definitely it's more punchier and less preachy. Liking this stuff so far...
