It's looking like that but again one thing to consider is these polls although scientific are flawed. I heard last night that one poll had Obama by 1% while another had him by 11%. I think many people might be saying that they are voting for Obama so they don't come across as being a racist.

I would also like to know where are they getting these people and if they really are canvassing all age groups. It is not hard to find a college student willing to say that they are going to vote one way or another but to find an older adult willing to take the time or be bothered with answering at all.

I guess my take is that the lead seems so large (particularly re: electoral votes) that even taking into account  problems with polls, Bradley effect, etc. I don't think McCain can close the gap.  It probably will be a lot closer than the above indicates (although it might not), but I still think Obama has enough.  Click on the link and note how many electoral votes are "Strong Democrat".

yep... the 'electoral math' STRONGLY favors Obama.  If he wins Virginia... and it sure looks like he win.. he could lose Florida (ahead there)  Ohio (ahead there), Missouri (tied), and N.C (tied)

in short.. McCain has to win every state still in play.. plus still steal a state that is Obama's.

And yet he's conceding states left and right to focus on Pennsylvania, where he's way down in the polls, Dem registration outnumbers GOP by over 1 million...

I don't know, I guess anything's possible, but this looks like it's over.  The remaining questions lie with the Congressional races.

I like CNN's maps and breakdown's....  haven't see a poll giving Obama an edge in NC...  all I have seen is that they are tied.  Figure in a 'red' state.. obama better have a good advantage before giving him the edge so to speak.

It get's better, here's the Obama campaigns anti-robocall robocall:

"I live in Green Bay and, like you, I've been getting sleazy phone calls and mail from John McCain and his supporters viciously -- and falsely -- attacking Barack Obama," says the caller. "I used to support John McCain because he honorably served our country -- but this year he's running a dishonorable campaign. We know McCain will continue many of Bush's policies, and now he's using George Bush's divisive tactics. In fact, he hired the Bush strategists whose attacks even McCain once called hateful."

Maybe we should just have our robocallers call theirs...  LOL

Really, it's too much.. too much.... Imagine that woman as PRESIDENT???
Yeah, she misspoke, and even though it was obviously she merely worded it very poorly, she was still hammered on it by Chris Matthews, the perpetual man-child, and to a lesser extent the other useless talking heads. WHAT A GAFFE!

The reason it sounded like that is because she was trying to quickly summarize it in her usual lowbrow speaking style, which is the problem. You'd have to be dumber than she is to really think that she has no idea what the VP's duties are.

"Fox and Friends" was somehow on at my house this morning, and they had an orgy with Rush Limbaugh over the phone...it's been a while since I listened to Rush - made me forget how ashamed I am that he is under the same genus as the rest of us.

I would go for Obama. If the elections were in Europe, would it be a record of biggest winning margin?
Possibly yes.
