Kobaia - Magma

Shocked

Clap

why the shock?

The opener is an incredible piece of music. The rest... good to great with a couple of exceptions.

I didn't think you cared for Magma.

But yes, a good album but one I hardly listen to anymore.  I think making it a double album was a bit too much, a single probably could have sufficed.

Oh, I'm fine with Magma. Just not as keen on them as some people are.

Man, I've never heard faster double bass drum action that Harrison's at the 11 minute mark of "Anesthetize". Mind blowing.

Same here until this morning, Mike. I wasn't overly crazy about it when it was first released, but liking it more and more.

I'm the very same way, although I think that I still prefer Up The Downstair and the metal side of me loves Deadwing to death.

Although you're right, this one is pure quality!

In continuation of our conversation from yesterday, you'll be happy to know that I recently purchased ^ that album on one of those black platter things with a hole in the middle.  I haven't quite figured out how to get my CD player to play it, but once I do, I'll let you know what I think of it.
