I've heard plenty of material, especially recently, on The Dividing Line. Before that I borrowed miscellaneous CDs from a friend who is very much into him.

If you don't mind jazz-fusion, try borrowing Hot Rats. That has some great work on it and it's a great entry CD if you're willing to give him a second chance (especially with guitar skills).

There are no vocals except the beginning of one song.
