As much as I would love to join in this exchange, I cannot since I will never part with a CD or LP again after disposing of some back in the mid 70s when I was strapped for cash (...those included albums by The Portsmouth Sinfonia, Funky Junction and an original copy of the Faust Tapes...) I have regretted that ever since.
come to think of it, I do have two copies of Emerald Rain's Age of Innocence, but I don't dislike anyone here enough to send them my spare copy

pity the poor unfortunate who comes last...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I have a Coheed and Cambria album going, if any wants it?
Thought not. I did manage to get £10 for spare copies of VdGG's Still Life and Soft Machine's Third the other day though. They were my original copies. Now I have the remastered versions, so I don't need old copies. Having said that, if CDs are really going to die a death, those old original releases may turn out to be worth a little. |

...if it were Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow I could be interested... at the right price as I have no swapsies...
...unless you are a musical masochist (see above)

No, it's Volume One of the above. I like two tracks I think. Oh, I also have The Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin However, I may give that another spin as I may like more now. Co&Ca I know I won't though. |

ok, call me niave shed dwelling brothers, but Co&Ca, I have heard good things about them, what are they like? they are on my "interested... I could just be" list (you know the list of things that spark your interest but not enough to ever make a shopping list!)
Oh and just to warn you I am thinking of changing my forum name, so don't get all flirty if some new girl joins the shed, it's only me! |

They are like emo nu-metal (The Mars Volta-lite) with boy-band vocals - try here: MySpace ... Welcome Home was their big 'hit'
... I rather like them, but I have no taste.

I had In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth ..not quite my cup but a quality band, melodic, clean, generally heavy, modern, well-constructed songs, it's possible you'd enjoy them

I checked out a couple of their albums a while ago when they were suggested for PA and that's pretty much how I feel about C & C; I don't particularly like them but I don't understand why they are so strongly disliked by some people.

I have been so busy this week explaining the facts of life (no, not those ones..) to bullied/confused/disconsolate/arrogant students involved in classroom incidents i am thinking of changing my name to mystic freud...
someone told me yesterday i had a slight Norfolk accent, i told them i lived in the North East for a few years and may have picked up an inflection - the person gave me a puzzled look and said "not very healthy living up there, then...?"
