Why don't they make hot dogs smaller so that I can stick them in my nose?

I've put a big bucket into that ocean.
Let's hope we get some water into it.

Two famous American film directors, both are river-related. Or maybe not.

I may not know how to grow apples, but I do know this: as long as the Moon drinks the light of the Sun and the River shares its wisdom with the Sea, our love shall remain internally illuminated.

Dear Marcel.

Thanks for lending me your copy of the Gutenberg Bible. I promised not to underline anything and I didn't. How nice of me! The book got a little wet though, but it was expected, wasn't it? You know how I like to read in the shower.

It would be a large stretch to get it working at full capacity. Even she knew it, but she kept going anyway.

Eventually, the snake would just urinate on her in the end.

You were definitely asking for it when you emptied your plate of spaghetti into the toilet tank.

If only we could find the connection between the sonic and the visual sense-data, the essence of them, if we could somehow analyze the experience an sich... but we can't.

A Note on Getting Hungry and Watching Movies

I've noticed that the more I stay awake, the hungrier I get. In fact, sleeping seems to reduce my hunger. I may be very very hungry when I go to bed, but in the morning I'm not hungry at all or only slightly hungry. This means that if I slept enough I wouldn't have to eat ever again. The problem is that I need to stay awake while watching movies, especially old French ones with Jean-Pierre Léaud in them. If only I could sleep and watch movies at the same time. I wonder if dead people ever get to see movies? They don't get hungry, that's for sure.
