Yep. Superb album. Only issue is that sometimes Moore's backing vocals mess up a little and the last track's not as strong as the others. Still, killer stuff, including some of the cuts on the expanded version.

^^It's been dirt cheap, too. Isn't Moore a metal guy? How 'prog' is it?

Moore's mostly a blues rock guitarist elsewhere (at least, as far as I know. Got one of his solo albums, which is quite good, though not remotely prog), though I think he also played with early Thin Lizzy. Also made an album or two with Lake. I'd say it's pretty progressive: killer instrumentals, a couple of long songs, devoted atmosphere, a range of Spanishy, hard and bluesy guitars, and some unusual percussion stuff by the incredible John Hiseman. The musicianship is generally fantastic, and the lead singer is also great. It's not exactly 1972 Yes, and there are a couple of tracks which'd could be considered commercial, but it's definitely a good buy.

Dirt cheap??/ lucky you!..i forked $ 17 for my edition, but maybe what you saw was the old un-remastered CD. I got the new expanded 2 CD-set. Anyway, if this is the price of a hot dog, i wouldn't hesitate.....that's a one of a kind of an album....and don't worry ,nothing weird as i have an idea what you like .
Great musicianship..,great energy.!!
Yes, Gary moore did some hard rock albums ( i said hard rock, not metal ), did some fusion, some good R nRoll, is very good at ballads but his passion is the blues!!!
A very melodic guitarist, he is!
If you find dirt cheap Moore , try him like with an album ''blues and ballads''

Antoine, I got in super early this morning because I was expecting my copies of either Legacy, Everyone Is Everybody Else or Octoberon in the weekend's mail. Friggin' postman never made it this weekend. I should urinate in the guy's gas tank! E
