Good idea in principle Alan, but isn't there some kind of law against cruel and unusual punishments?

I have two 'The Gathering' CDs which are free to a good home!  They Are How To Measure A Planet? (1999) Mint condition 2CD set and If_then_else (2000) digipack with a couple of minor dents & scuffs on pack.  Applicants from UK or mainland Europe only.  the first person to PM me their address will have them sent out in a jiffy bag on Monday afternoon...Wink

I was going to put them on ebay, but frankly I can't be arsed...Embarrassed
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

One has to wonder why a signed-up member of the Dutch branch of the PAAdA/AvGAS, (Progressive Archives Agua de Annique / Anneke van Giersbergen Appreciation Society) hasn't got copies of both those albums already.
What?

No thanks, I already had meat for diner... Actually, I only got lucky because I logged on a bit later than usual on saturdays.

@Dean: a member of what???? Confused

By the way: Anneke, or her management, have found a rather dubious way to make money. They're sending e-mails now telling you you can win tickets to Agua de Annique gigs, but you have to send in a payment slip for her new single, and only Free Record Shop slips are accepted. Free Record Shop is easily one of the most expensive branches here, especially when it comes to singles.

I think life's a bit too short and future musical opportunities too many to keep hold of them for a very occasional listen...Wink

True - apparently these come without meat... or 'skin-n-bones' as they say.

Sorry to change the subject (nice cow btw)

Is it just my age or do you guys get completely jerked off with cash machines?  (Or "ATM's as we're now required to call them Stern Smile  )  they are SO low in the wall, I know that this is to accomodate those people who have disabilities, but lets face it one more trip to the bank and I'm going to need a wheel chair! Ouch you've got to bend over double, whilst maintaining vigilence that you're not about to be mugged, whilst typing in a pin code that you have to type under your spare hand or newspaper or whatever incase someone has inserted a spy camera to the machine.... then you need to hunch up your shoulders and waggle your head because at certain times of day (if you're lucky) the sun shines on the screen leaving it utterly utterly unreadable unless you find a way of blocking the sun (whilst bending over double and hiding your pin)
Then you've got the whole thing about taking your money and trying to put it into your wallet safely before moving down the street (waving a bunch of tenners)  so whilst you do that you have half a dozen mutterers at your back making you responsible for their entire crappy day.

Fun eh?  OR is it really just me?   I am beginning to think I am getting good and mardy in my old age!
