My parting gift to the forum:

I suggest we overhaul the genres of this site to have their names changed to better reflect their contents.  Some genres (like ISP and SP) are combined, and some are split into two new categories (like RIO/avant)

Canterbury Scene ----> (music not from) Canterbury Scene
Crossover Prog ----> Pop
Eclectic Prog ----> Genre-hopping with logical transitions
Experimental/Post-Metal ----> Distorted Post-Rock
Heavy Prog ----> Hard Rock
Indo-prog/Raga Rock ----> World Music
Italian Symphonic Prog/Symphonic Prog ----> Rock with keyboards
Jazz-Rock/Fusion ----> Jazz
Krautrock ----> German rock
Neo Progressive ----> Rock with bad keyboards
Post Rock ----> Boring rock
Math Rock ----> w**k rock
Prog Folk ----> Folk
Progressive Electronic ----> Ambient
Progressive Metal ----> metal with keyboards
Psychedelic/Space Rock ----> Music by musicians who did drugs
RIO/Avant Prog 1 ----> horror soundtracks
RIO/Avant Prog 2 ----> genre hopping without logical transitions
Tech/Extreme Prog Metal ----> Tech/Extreme Metal
Zeuhl ----> Carl Orff clones
Proto Prog ----> pre-1969 rock
Prog Related ----> post-1969 rock

I like this idea of having only 1 genre.
